With limited guidance from senior team members, incumbent will be capable of accurately troubleshooting issues at all levels of the system, from the endpoint to the application through the various layers of communication and processing of data. The Systems Engineer will also help direct installations, reconfigurations and maintenance on rack mounted electrical equipment such as uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), Static Transfer Switches (STS) and Automatic Transfer switches (ATS), HVAC controls, as well as camera and monitoring systems. Incumbent will be self-motivated, and actively engaged in finding and correcting issues to ensure the reliability and functionality of the ICS system as a whole.Salary Range: $130,000 to $140,000Work Model: Onsite/Office-BasedResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Support the integrity of the System Security Plan, creating Corrective Action Plans for issues identified and all supporting processes.
  • Develop, finalize and submit all documentation as required to execute SCADA or EMCS work and illustrate full functionality with completion of work and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose all forms of errors and inconsistencies with endpoint devices and integration into the SCADA or EMCS environment.
  • Setup and configure all manners of OT equipment and network interface devices, PLC and automation controllers and associated sensors and metering, and video surveillance systems.
  • Verifying accuracy of data and equipment, metering values, alarm points, etc.
  • Directing, mentoring and training junior personnel as needed.
  • Ensure rack mounted electrical equipment is maintained and installed correctly.
  • Record and update documentation for assets in the ICS environment.
  • Provide other members with guidance and support in the ongoing upkeep of the SCADA/EMCS systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMandatory:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of equivalent related experience or Associate's degree in a related field and at least 7 years of equivalent related experience or in lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of equivalent related experience.
    • Possess a broad knowledge of OT systems and controls, including power metering, switchgear controls and automation, Programmable Logic Controllers, HMI systems and HVAC controls.
    • Experience with large scale, distributed node SCADA systems.
    • Basic knowledge of various protocols found in Industrial environments (Modbus, DNP, SNMP, Bacnet, etc).
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain good working relations.
    • Ability to research, analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely solutions.
    • U.S. Citizen.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
    • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen.
